I joined the Mid South Woodturners in 2008 in Memphis, Tn and have been active as a board member for 4 years and I also take the club gallery photos every meeting. I produced the club newsletter for 5 years and won the AAW newsletter contest twice with our club's publication. I also maintain the club website, for the last 5 years, and we have won first and second place in the AAW website competition in the two years we entered the contest. I am very proud of my club and look forward to our future community involvement with fair demonstrations and gallery showings. I attended the University of Memphis. I enjoy the various symposiums, both local and national and find them to be a great source of commaraderie and learning.
