I was raised on a farm in SE Nebraska where as a kid my dad would give me a hammer, nails and scrap wood to keep me busy as he worked in the shop of an evening. I have always liked doing necessary little projects as a hobby but didn't really get hooked until my girl friend got me a small lathe around 2002. After hacking up a lot of wood my 'creations' actually started looking like something so I started looking for an outlet for my work. I am fortunate to live near San Francisco which has a street artist program which I joined in 2004. I have now been selling my work full time in the SF financial district where tourists from all over the world as well as locals pass through daily.
