This was one of my snake series and it was selected by Bill Neddows as cover in Sept 2008. It is 61/2"dia x 11"high and turned from Sychamore. The snakes and cage were turned and carved from one piece and the base and column from another. The cage was textured and coloured and the lid had a capture ring whilst the snakes scales were pyrographed and flame shaded. Inside is a crystal that the snakes are guarding. Comments and critiques welcomed.
