I am from New Zealand. A small town called Taupo on the edge of the largest lake in the southern hemisphere. I am a qualified carpenter and Currently work full time for a local construction firm. I have been turning since 2009 after a rock climbing accident put me in a wheel chair, prior to that I had no real wood turning experience. I have adapted to wood turning without to much trouble and have grown my skill level through the years with competing and working, with my local club having a huge impact on my progression. I like to turn convention/functional pieces but I also have a love for Artistic pieces and I am always pushing my boundaries, trying new things and always striving to improve.
