Born and breed in New Zealand and now retired from engineering in 2008 I took up woodturning as a hobby. I love working with wood and all the different timbers that we have in this country we are so blessed with a great variety of native timbers here. I like all aspects of woodturning from basic bowls forms, hollow forms, spindle turning and modern art forms but my love is segmenting work as it adds another dimension to the craft.
