Dogwood pierced hollow form

I started turning in about 2010 after I retired from the Bricklayers Union after 35 years. I work mostly with local woods and feel that we are so lucky to have such a great selection here in Oregon. I have always loved working with my hands and when I found woodturning I was just consumed by it. I love to go to craft and art shows to see what other people are doing, I turn many different things but I have a big interest in traditional vessels such as quaichs and mazers etc. and I really enjoy turning thin and piercing.
