Artist Statement: Trees are magnificent, often living beyond several human lifetimes. When a tree dies its inherent natural beauty, its life-filled timber, can be an ongoing voice. I enjoy rescuing and revealing fallen trees, imagining, exploring, striving to sculpt elegant, engaging, positive expressions on the lathe; functional, inspirational, sculptural.
