Spalted Hickory Burl HF

My name is Sean Evans, I’m a woodturner residing in NH, USA. I’m primarily focusing on hollow forms, and turned and carved/sculpted works. I took up woodturning in 2001, and had two pieces exhibited with the AAW’s annual exhibits (2003, Put a Lid on It; 2004, From Sea to Odyssey), and then stepped away from woodturning in 2004. Since then I focused on sculpted and flameworked glass. Fast forward to May of this year when I decided to throw myself entirely into woodturning again and purchased a new lathe. What comes next is anybody’s guess, but I have a renewed passion for woodturning that rivals anything I’ve ever felt before.
