I am a retired energy marketer who has been a lifelong woodworker. Over the years I have turned a few things using my Shopsmith. About 5 years ago I was able to buy a nearly new Jet mini lathe from a family who was selling their father tools. That’s when I got hooked on turning. I have since purchased and sold a Laguna 1836 and am now turning on a Powermatic 3520C and try to turn 4 or 5 days a week. Member of the Gulf Coast Woodturners Association.
