One of the 5 winners of the AAW Award of Excellence 2019 at the Raleigh Symposium Returned to work June 2107. Purchased AZCarbide. A small distributor of carbide inserts for the turning community Retired from 41 years in the garment industry in 2007. Started turning in 2008 on a new Rikon 75-100. After attending John C Campbell and turning on a 3520 I made the decision to move to a larger lathe. 2009 was picked up by Carter Products a local mfg company to test their prototype tools. Was then ask to demo for them at the AAW Symposium and have done so since the 25th anniversary show in St Paul. Past President and Vice President of the Grand River Woodturners Guild in Grand Rapids MI. Currently my work is on sale at Gallery Uptown Grand Haven Mi, Muskegon Art Museum Gift Shop Muskegon M,I Tubac Center for the Arts Tubac AZ, and Synchronicity Gallery in Glen Arbor MI. I have taken part in 3 ArtPrize contest here in Grand Rapids and have been in a few of the Regional art competitions. 2014 received Jurors award, 2015 Vandenburg 3D art award.
