My name is Ed Siegel and I live in Greensboro, NC.
I bought my 1st lathe when I graduated from college and "tried" to teach myself how to turn (from books...no YouTube back then). For my 30th birthday my parents sent me to Vermont to take a weekend turning class....and now, 30 years later, I'm still using those skill, learning more, and teaching new turners.
I am currently the Chairman of the Woodturners Special Interest Group for the Woodworkers of Central New York.
I enjoy trying new techniques and finding challenging projects as well as demonstrating turning.
