I have been turning regularly since 2005 and am a member of the AAW and our local chapter Superiorland Woodturners in Marquette, Michigan. I enjoy turning most objects, but try to lean towards the artistic vs purely functional pieces. I enjoy color and texture and look for the "story in the wood". I retired from my job as a Nephrologist after 34 years in practice and live in a beautiful spot in Michigan's Upper Peninsula with my wife Rene' who is also an artist.
