Inspired by Alan Adler, this napkin ring was given to me as a baby and was probably part of a christening ceremony gift. The wood is honey locust. It is 2 1/8 at the base x 2 1/2 high. The base is not glued to the napkin ring as the next use of the ring will be at the Thanksgiving table. After Thanksgiving dinner, the napkin ring will go from drawer to display case.
