12" CherryPlatter with a touch of colour. Edited to answer questions: Finished with a lacquer spray over the marbled area's and a oil on the bare wood. The marbling is done as a collaboration with my wife Sharon. She is much better then me with choosing the colours and getting the design of the paint just right. This pattern is called - Italian Vein. We do not do this often as it uses straight ox gall to make the clear area's and kind of kills the carrageenan for other patterns.
