I am a retired public school educator. Due to a health issue I was forced to retire in 2000. I never did any woodworking until my retirement. I was influenced early in my teaching career by Harry Nohr, a retired postmaster and self taught woodturner. While my involvement with him was through Trout Unlimited his wood turning caught my attention. Since then I've learned through mentors from the two AAW clubs I belong to.
