I am now 75 years old. I got my first wood lathe when I was 10 years old. I then had woodturning in high school shop and also in college shop. I went to college to become an industrial arts teacher but decided not to teach. I have done woodworking and turned on and off since that time but there were many years where i did not turn due to work and family. Most of my turning is been done in the last 15 years since I retired.
