Electrical Engineer by day, woodturner by night. I started woodworking with the goal of making furniture back in 2009. Over the years I have expanded my knowledge and interests ranging from marquetry to lutherie. I bought my first lathe, a harbor freight 12"x33", in 2017 and have upgraded 3 times since; Currently turning on a Nova 3000. My main interest in woodworking has shifted to turning traditional Hawaiian calabash forms, but I'm always up for learning something new. An active member of both the Maui Woodworkers Guild and the Maui Woodturners Association.
