I'm Eric from Maine and moved to Tennessee in 2017. I liked woodworking for years but never had much time or place to do what I enjoyed. Now that I'm retired I get a chance to persue a life time desire to creat things with wood. Covid came in 2020 and in that year I received a Mini lathe for a gift. Never had one before so I quickly set it up that day and found a few used old tools and just turned. Well I so enjoyed it so much I kept going to the internet to watch videos. My neighbor introduced me to the Cumberland Woodturners in Crossville. I have learned so much in 5 years now but still have so much to learn and love the process of making beautiful projects . I appreciate when others help me learn better ways to achieve proper uses of the tools. Let's keep challenging each other as we enjoy this great art form!!
