Grew up in Southern California. Had a land surveying business in San Diego for 35 years. Moved to Montana in 2004, but still spent winters in San Diego. Began turning in 2008, took a class with Dale Nish. Lived in the mountains between Helena and Great Falls, along the Missouri River. Member of San Diego Woodturners and Great Falls Woodturners. Hobbies: woodturning & fishing. Recently re-located to La Jolla due to family medical issues.
