My Bachelors degree was in Industrial Arts from SUNY Oswego. I taught shop for a year in Fulton, NY, before going back to school for a degree in Instructional Design, and 35 years teaching at Florida State University. I returned to my shop teacher roots in 2002, and joined the AAW, and North Florida Woodturners. I love woodturning, and try to recruit anyone I can. I am presently the studio manager for Camelot's Woodturning Studio (Woodturner.com) in Tallahassee, FL, and I teach woodturning workshops. You can see some of my work on-line at waltwager.com. I am happily retired and available to do club demos for no charge except traveling expenses.
