I was born and educated in Austria and moved with my wife and our two sons to the USA in 1975. My wife and I love to travel all over the United States and Canada. We are now both Citizens of the United States. Inspired by an article from Bonnie Klein in a Woodworking Magazine, I went in 1994 during our vacation to the Utah Woodturning Symposium. Well, that was all it took to go home, buy a lathe and learn as much as I could about woodturning. I have been turning ever since, and belong to the North East Wisconsin Woodturners and the smaller chapter of the UB6 Woodturners. I like to thank Papa Herm and all his helpers for creating the WOW web site and for inviting me as a member.
