birthdate Jan 17,1943 Born in Montreal, Canada to an old Canadian family. While in high school met a crafts teacher who gave me private lessons teaching turning, carving and furniture making and all FOC. After finishing high school left for Israel on my own. One year later found myself serving in elite airborne unit for several years as a regular and then 40 years as an active reservist! Lived on a kibbutz where met my future wife, Shulamit, also serving in the army. Left the kibbutz and studied electronic engineering and worked for many years in the high tech industries. Left to open an exotic wood and woodturning business and managed this poorly for 10 years or so till retiring. I have travelled extensively and lived and worked in the Camerouns and later had my own ebony sawmill in Madagascar. I am now retired and have 2 children grown up with 3 grand children quickly growing up as well. I try to work 6 full days every week and am an avid gardener. I see myself mainly as a top maker.
